Where the sector stands today.
Manufacturers are being asked to do several hard things at once. Customers want shorter lead times and more variants. Energy and material costs refuse to settle. Experienced operators and maintenance engineers are retiring faster than their knowledge can be written down. Meanwhile most plants run on a patchwork of machines, control systems and spreadsheets installed over decades, none of which was designed to share data. Leaders are now deciding where AI belongs in that picture: on the line for quality and maintenance, in planning and scheduling, or in the engineering office. They are also deciding how much to invest in connecting operational technology to enterprise systems before any of it pays back. The plants that make progress tend to start with one line, one constraint and one team that owns the result, then widen from there.
We start on the shop floor, not in the architecture diagram. That means sitting with supervisors, planners and maintenance crews to understand who makes which decision, with what information, and how often they have to guess. From there we agree an operating model: who owns production data, who acts on an alert, and how improvements get standardised across shifts and sites. Only then do we map the process, fix the data feeding it, and introduce AI where it removes a real constraint. Our aim is a plant that keeps improving under its own steam after we leave.
The predictive maintenance pilots we see stall rarely fail on the model. They fail because nobody agreed what a technician should do when the alert fires, or who is allowed to stop a line on the strength of it. When we settle that conversation first, even a simple model earns its keep. When it is skipped, the most accurate model in the building ends up as a dashboard nobody opens on night shift.
Where we stand out in Manufacturing.
Capabilities built specifically for the challenges of your sector.
Work begins with operators, planners and maintenance crews, so solutions fit how shifts really run
Practical experience joining operational technology data to ERP, MES and quality systems
One line and one constraint first, with a clear path to repeat the result across sites
Energy, scrap and material use treated as operating measures, not a separate sustainability report
Knowledge capture from experienced engineers built into every engagement
Services for Manufacturing.
Practical, outcome-focused engagements shaped around your sector's realities.
AI Readiness Assessment for plants and production networks
A structured review of people, processes, machine data and systems, showing where AI can relieve a real production constraint and where it cannot yet.
Modern Data Strategy for shop-floor and enterprise data
Ownership, models and pipelines that bring machine, quality and planning data together, so engineers and planners work from one trusted picture of the plant.
Enterprise Application Platforms for ERP, MES and PLM estates
Rationalising and integrating the core systems that connect engineering, production and service, without halting the lines that depend on them every day.
Business Process Improvement for production and maintenance flows
Mapping how orders, changeovers and repairs really move through the plant, removing waste and rework before any automation is layered on top.
Cybersecurity for the AI Era for connected plants
Protecting control systems, supplier connections and new AI tools as operational technology joins the corporate network, with response plans that production managers can follow.
